There’s an excellent course at askvideo. It covers pretty much everything.
Hi @LFO2. Just wondered, if you’ve done the course, would you have time to write some comments/review? I’m sure that would be much appreciated on the forum. (perhaps as a reply to this post New (paid for) course for Vital from ask.audio).
Hi Andrew! I just write a short review in your other threads. I hope it is helpful!
Hi I have made a 90 second video on creating a simple arpeggio using the transpose snap function and pitch modulation with an lfo.
You can also download the preset to use as a template to create you own arpeggios. Click here for the link…Create an arpeggiated sound in 90 seconds video
I plan to create some more about FM modulation soon and will keep you posted…
Cheers
Andy
Areas covered:
- Flange filter
- Note random modulator
- Mod remap
appreciate it, thank you
thanks, didn´t notice this slider at all.
Here’s a video I’ve created for anyone trying to understand Macros. There are 5 step by step examples which build on each other plus links to download the example presets.
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks
Andy
Also this one:
Just did a small piece of generative style music with a single patch. I have notes throughout the video on how to achieve the sounds and random notes/progressions…
Cool patch! I like the atmosphere you are creating

I’ve been playing around with this type of pluck an couldn’t resist making a short tutorial.
Hi there I have a short video on how to map your MIDI keyboard to Vital. I know lots of people will probably know how to do this but have you actually done it? It definitely gives me more time to get creative with my sound design. If you haven’t done it, it literally takes seconds to do!
Have a great weekend!
wow that was super quick to achieve just the basis of the sound!
Made this video about possible uncommon uses of LFOs, hope you like it
For new sound designers I have a"How to create a Pad / landscape sound with the filters" Video this shows the use of subtractive synthesis to get a dynamic sound. Hope you enjoy!
Oh and you can get the free preset here …Free Vital Slow Sweeping Pad
A quick video on how to create a Bell using the FM OSC function. Its really simple to do.
If you have wondered how the FM OSC function works it also covers that too.
Next week I will publish part 2 which adds macros, filters, effects etc
The free full feature Preset is here https://vitalexp.com/download/fm-bell/
Enjoy your weekend!
