Here’s another audio-rate modulation experiment.
- OSC: The base waveform, basically only a pure simple saw
- OSC: Pulse Width + Unisono - It’s Spliced in every second cycle, for about 12,5% of the cycle
- OSC: Noise - It’s Spliced in every second cycle, for about 12,5% of the cycle
When I talk about “cycle” I mean one full cycle of the saw waveform.
Play as a deep drone holding for instance c1 and c2 and improvising in the upper registers…
By the way I have routed Aftertouch to filter cutoff. So while droneing you can add rhythmical acents by pressing the keys harder and releasing preasure a little …
By the way two: If you like - Remove all FX and switch of the filter and then watch the waveform in the advanced tab. I think this will give you and intuition what this splicing stuff does
