Every version after 1.0.8 crashes

Every version after 1.0.8 crashes the plugin and Ableton Live 12 Suite.
The first few seconds after i open Vital work fine, and i can play a few notes, until it freezes and crashes the whole DAW.
I bought the Pro version to support this awesome project, but i would really like to solve this issue and upgrade to version 1.5.5.

My hardware:

GPU: Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme AIRO (latest driver 566.14)
CPU: Intel Core i9-13900KF
MAINBOARD: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-F Gaming WIFI
RAM: Corsair Vegeance DDR5 6000
OS: Windows 11 Pro (up to date)

Anyone got a fix or solution? :smiley:

Dang that really sucks, I assume you’ve tried a clean reinstall?
Not sure what else really, maybe check Direct X drivers?

I reinstalled both, the plugin and Ableton.
Also, i tried all available versions of the plugin, from 1.5.1 to 1.5.5 without success.
I haven’t reinstalled Windows, yet, because i did that a few weeks before i tried Vital :frowning:

Dang I’m not really sure what else to try, you can hit up the discord server they’ll be more active there

Just saw a news article th most recent windows 11 update has also cause all Ubisoft games to stop working
Fingers crossed they publish a fix and it may be that effecting Vital as well

That’s good to know, thank you for sharing!
I successfully installed Vital version 1.5.5 on the computer of a friend, who is also using Ableton, but is still on Windows 10.
So it might be, indeed, a Windows 11 problem.
