The supported operating systems are listed on vital.audio under the Get Vital section
You might be outta luck

I’m using Win 7 64 bit (with sp1) and I’ve had no problems so far.

I’m using Windows 8.1 and so far have no problems.

Do have a question though?

How do you adjust things when you select Stereo as seen in my pic?!

No problems for now in Windows 8.1 64bit, the best way to try if it works is downloading Vital and installing it. I was a little bummed about the requirements but it surprised me that works with older versions of Windows.

Windows 7 is not supported by Microsoft, don’t expect it to be supported by independent software developers.

It seems to be running fine on my Windows 7 64bit sp1 machine in standalone and as a VST in Presonus Studio Pro 3…but as someone mentioned above if Microsoft aren’t supporting Win7 anymore its more luck that judgement that Vital is working…for now

I have installed in Win7 x64 and this is my experience so far:

a me su windows 7 e fruity loops funziona ma non completamente, alcune funzioni non le fa e poi non ha i preset ma si riesce a farrli e memorizzarli…

yeah it works on win7 64 bit no problems here !!!

My experience in Cubase 6, Win7 SP1 x64:
VST 2 .dll not recognised inside DAW.
VST 3 seems to work fine.
Standalone works fine.
