What does "Pitch Slice" do?

Hey VITAL users,

I’m curious: One of the options you get when you drag an audiofile onto a wavetable in VITAL is “Pitch Slice”.

What does that mean, and what can it do (that the other two options don’t?).

And on that note, I’m note entirely sure how the VOCODE and WAVETABLE options differ from each other?

All three options deliver a similar sound, with subtle differences… Of the three, VOCODE will ending up sounding most like your original audiofile… the other two might sound a bit rougher… slightly choppier. I feel like there’s something I’m missing with these three options…

Thanks, ras
