screen elements flicker when there is an animation

Just upgraded from 1.03 to 1.04 and noticed the same. Hitting notes and moving sliders triggers it.
This it Ubuntu 16.04 with an ATI Radeon card, running the VST2 inside renoise.
It did not happen to me before with 1.03, it seems like a regression.

same thing to me im running bitwig on manjaro xfce , DELL M4800 I7 2.8 16 ram , you have any news
Same here on Linux Mint 19 on an HP Probook with i7 and 16 Gig Ram.
Tried Renoise and Reaper and switched between Alsa and Jack.
also did set the Oversamling to 1 in Vital … still the same.
On my windows 10 same version of Vital works fine.
This should be fixed in the latest version: 1.0.5
