Vital wont upgrade

Hello,
I purchased Vital way back in the day and was using it off and on for awhile. I wanted to get a new sound patch - when I did Vital indicated it needed to be updated. I tried to upgrade in my DAW and on the standalone app – but no such luck. I am stuck on v 1.0.7. Can someone let me know what steps I need to take to get the latest version.

Is it free upgrades for life?

Also, I’m browsing the preset packs, some of them have Plus or Pro next to them, does that mean they are included in the Plus/Pro/Subscribed tier?
