Hello,
- I’m using Windows 11 (version 10.0.22621 Build 22621)
- starting and restarting Vital as admin even doesn’t save audio settings
- window size settings are saved
- my audio interface is Focusrite Scarlett 8i6
- my preferred audio driver: ASIO (Focusrite USB ASIO)
Anyway, thank You for this imazing instrument
Edit: the setting are stored in the vital.config file correctly (I think), but it seems to me, that Vital don’t read this config file. I deleted this file and Vital started with default settings (Windows Audio). But when I make my settings again and restart Vital the settings are lost and empty.
I think windows audio will always take over the application in standalone mode, if I’m not mistaken, I’m not actually sure if it’s a bug or its windows audio just doing that - I thought it was windows audio so that it doesn’t disable the rest of your computers audio just simply by launching the app
I’d double check this though I’m not sure if I’m right
I’m having the same issue except I’m on Windows 10. Vital in standalone mode is not keeping the settings.
ASIO M-Audio Air 192/14
This is a known bug that affects some people, me included.
I also run into this issue …
It does seem to save the Audio Settings But it fails to save the Disabled midi ports
Worst part is that I have a whole list of Connected Midi Devices (And the box for the devices is Tiny)
(My Motu Midi Expres 128 is already 8 of them)
and besides that My PreSonus Faderport is always sending midi data to let the software know that it’s still connected
and that Triggers Vital to do stuff I don’t want it to …
I am just happy I didn’t get a payed version as that would have been a waist of money in my opinion
I Mean if it cant even save and recall it’s own settings …
