Hi everyone, I’m running into a recurring issue when collaborating with other producers who use Vital in Ableton Live.
My colleagues and I all work in Ableton, and we use Vital to design our own sounds.
They save their presets inside Vital, and they also use “Collect All and Save” before sending me their Ableton project.
However, when I open their project on my computer, every instance of Vital loads as the Init preset, as if nothing was saved, even though the presets were properly saved on their side. The devices load correctly, but Vital reset to Init.
So my question is:
What is the correct way to transfer an Ableton project containing Vital instances and custom made presets so that Vital does not reset to Init on another computer?
We all want to make sure Vital recalls the right preset and parameters when sharing projects.
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
