I’m having some issues assigning the mod wheel for pitch modulation. I tried recording whilst bumping it up with a mouse in the VST editor and have also tried manually writing it in logic’s automation track but neither have yielded any success in any way. I’m wondering if anyone has a workaround or solution for this issue. For context i’m trying to get that reese bass whirring sound heard in Neuro dnb.
Heya, why not just increase the pitch bend range for the pitch wheel and modulate/automate that instead - not using the mod wheel entirely
Otherwise, instead of mod wheel maybe just a macro? If you’re out of macros, you can turn a spare LFO into a macro as a funky workaround
Does this happen only with modulating pitch with mod wheel, can you modulate other stuff with it? Do you mean the master pitch or osc pitches?
Btw you can use pitch wheel for that, and if you don’t want to bend all the oscillators you can set the pitch bend amount to zero and connect the pitch wheel to modulate the osc pitches individually.
