Appreciate your continued help but I think we are crossing wires. My issue and still is the same as the OP but I am using Ableton. So I load vital and it’s fine for the first press of my keyboard (laptop) so one note plays then silence yet all midi and everything is working fine, I can even see Vital playing and moving through the envelopes etc.
Following the steps above I can see any settings anywhere near what is being described.

Try enabling track sync and remote for the output as well there - lemme know if any changes
Or Check to see if there’s maybe some automation going on?
Sometimes I accidentally enable a filter all the way without realizing and therefore no audio - something like that.
