Vital 1.5.5 cant locate VST

Have downlaoded 1.5.5 onto Mac 10.13.6 High Sierra. Clicked install. standalone version installed in App folder but cant find the VST in my Library/audio folder?

the correct location should be:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Vital.vst

installed fine here in mojave (10.14 that is)

Thanks. I did look there to no avail, but its working if I load it in to Ableton as an audio unit, not vst.

strange
hard to say whats going on frome remote…
so:
there is no vital.vst in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
or
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
or vst3 in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
respectively
?

maybe a workaround might work:
installing via suspicious package

and, by hand, install the vst/vst3 parts…

maybe you have a permission problem with those directories ?
