Hi,
I use Renoise to register VSTs (it supports VST2 and VST3).
Vital can load Vital VST3 just fine, but Vital VST2 does immediately fail loading with this error in the console: “VstPlugs: Instantiate FAILED (DLL contains no VST main entry function) !!!”
Renoise knows about the VST so I assume somewhere in the past it recognized the shared object as a VST instrument.
The incriminated .so is the one in the same directory as the standalone. (I used the general Linux 64 archive, not the Debian one)
My configuration:
- Manjaro Linux
- Gnome 3.38
- ADM Radeon Vega 11 (integrated)
