Hi. Brought some presets I made on my older computer into the new one, but whenever I try to open them I get a message that they were created with a newer version. It seems odd because I upgraded to the cheaper version from free on this new computer.
Check the version on both computers. Install the newest version on the new computer. “Upgrading” from free to paid is not a difference in versions, but in patch content.
Click the vital icon in the upper left of the vital window to see the version.
Get the newest by going to account.vital.audio and click on all downloads. Download the version that is the same, or greater than, the version on the old computer.
That was it. I thought the paid one would install the latest version but it installs an older one. Thank you so much, problem solved.
