This is not earth shattering, but it’s a technique I felt was worth mentioning.
When Env. 1 has a long “master sustain” for a full patch, I hit on the idea of using Env. 2 to fade the level of Oscillator 1 (and others). Obvious, but I’d not thought of it until now. It gives finer control of the elements of a patch without the complexities an LFO may introduce.
Obviously there’s so many ways to construct things in Vital, but I thought some might find this useful to consider.
P.S. Some of the percussion patches (and perhaps others) use this function.
