UI is a full screen behemoth in BitWig!

While you are offered scaling for the synth within the window, I can’t get rid of the huge enclosure. Is this BitWigs issue or Vital’s?

Hi,
I’m on Mac with Bitwig 5.3 Beta 7, and have the same issue if I open the Vital CLAP plugin instrument directly from the Bitwig browser. Weirdly though, I also have a few Vital .bwpreset files - when I select any of those from the Bitwig browser, the Vital plugin opens with a correctly-sized window. No idea why.

I am a new user on this forum so cannot upload a zipped .bwpreset file, but maybe see if you can find a Vital .bwpreset from elsewhere on the interweb and see if opening up that works?

See if CLAP and VST3 versions behaves the same. I have no such issues with the VST3 one.

I second this: Vital 1.5.5 as a CLAP plugin eats up all the screen size in Reaper 7 on macOS 15.2, too.
With MuLab 9 it is completely unusable - its window extends by far over the screen’s edges. Reducing window in Vital to a lower size results in a smaller Vital but leaves the surrounding window as it is.
VST3 version is fine in both DAW.

You shouldn’t use the CLAP one anyway as it’s buggy. Remove it if you haven’t used it in your projects so that you won’t use it by accident.
