Support for Windows on ARM

Support for Windows on ARM would be great, now that the Snapdragon X processors are available.

I’ll add my support to this request! I have an Intel and a Windows on ARM computer.

I hope a lot more app developers will make WoA builds. Meantime, the vast majority of software and VST’s run fine on WoA under emulation. So, at very least, I hope Vital can be updated to work with the emulator like most other vst’s do.

I really miss having Vital on my Surface Pro 11!!!

Yup Fl studio works great but Vital stable and beta are blocked during the install

Adding a +1 to this.

This looks like it’s working for me with FL Studio on my Windows ARM64 machine. I’m afraid I’m not going to give step-by-step instructions since you need to know what you’re doing a bit in case something messes up and you need to roll back.

But:

  • Use a tool like “innoextract” to extract the files from VitalInstaller.exe
  • Find and copy vital.vst3 and vital.dll into your VST3 directory (eg C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3)
  • Open FL Studio’s plugin manager and rescan plugins.

I had to manually set the plugin type in the plugin manager to “Synth”.
