Id like to suggest adding send effect in the effect section. I know it’s not very common in vst synths, but it’s a really cool feature. Avenger synth from Vengeance sound has it.
It could easily be implemented like this, see image. You make the divider line that you can move up and down, same way as the effects. The effect above the line is inserts, the effects below the line is sends.
