Following up my first post Vital disappearing from Ableton Plug Ins Menu
I guess reinstalling is all I have left to try.
If I uninstall Vital completely from my PC and then reinstall it, will my custom synths and the automation that I have done in my projects still be there when I reinstall it? Or is that erased as well?
Before you try uninstalling, I’d make a backup of all your synths elsewhere just in case. As for automation, I don’t think anything should happen, but I’m not 100% confidant.
It should be fine to uninstall/reinstall as all preset files are not part of the installation process.
You can just clone the ‘Vital’ folder in Documents if you want to make a backup though.
