Reaper crashes in WINE whenever closing Vital 1.5.5

Reaper 7.19 in WINE staging 9.19 in Ubuntu 24.04.

Vital plays correctly, but when closing the VST window in Reaper the whole app crashes. VST3 version. For some reason I can’t see CLAP plugins in the WINE version of Reaper. Crash happens when logged into Vital and when using it offline. Not sure where error logs are kept…

(No, I can’t use Reaper on linux because it takes hours to open a single project, the keyboard lags, and it tries to take exclusive access of my soundcard. WINE just works better in every way.)

Any advice please?

I tried testing the VST version of Vital instead of the VST3 version. And that version works fine - no crashing of Reaper when closing.

Same in FL Studio - VST3 version in WINE crashes FL Studio, but VST version works without error.
