Question regarding Phase Randomization

I have a patch that is just a single Sine wave with some compression and distortion.

Each time I play the patch the sounds slightly different, I want it to play exactly the same each time.

I set Phase Randomization down to 0 which makes each play sound the same, but it makes the patch sound like it has no distortion on it.

Can someone please explain what’s happening when I do this and if there is a way to solve this issue?

is it just 1 oscillator playing a sine with no unison? the starting phase should have no effect on how distorted it sounds. like lokki said you should post the patch here
