Oscillator routing for FX

It would be great if we could choose which oscillators the effects are applied to, as is the case for the filters in the “Voice” page.

Anyway, I’m having a great time with Vital and it’s great as is!

good idea. also it would be nice if each oscillator had its own FX chain. someday  but your idea is much slicker.

It would be great if you could also run the oscillators through the filters, but then they wouldn’t automatically get the effects afterwards.

That’s more or less what I mean:

  • Filter 1

  • Filter 2

  • Filter 1+2

  • *Filter 1 w/o Effects

  • *Filter 2 w/o Effects

  • *Filter 1+2 w/o Effects

  • Effects

  • Direct Out

Example of use would be a classic bar sound, where Osc 1 is the bass (with filter, without effects) and Osc 2 - 4 are the other sounds.

“Direct Out” does its job well, but mostly only for sine waves.

I currently do it so that Osc 1 + 2 generate the chord using unison and Osc 3 lies underneath as a simple bass so that you can play the “stab” with one finger.

Osc 3 has a lowpass filter directly on top of the warp features and “Direct Out”. So it is neither filtered with Filter 1 / 2 nor affected in any way.
