Option to disable scrolling

I’m having trouble with the scrolling behaviour in Vital, it feels extremely sensitive. When I drag a parameter and release the mouse, the value often jumps unexpectedly. For example, if I’m adjusting a filter cutoff to -12, even the slightest movement can send it all the way to -43.

I’m using an Apple Magic Mouse and have already tried adjusting the scrolling and mouse speed in my system settings, but it hasn’t helped. It makes using Vital really difficult and finicky; values can change dramatically even if I’m just moving my mouse across the page, sometimes without me even realizing.

I would LOVE an option to disable scrolling and allow for direct click-and-drag adjustments instead. It would make using Vital much much easier. Thanks in advance!

afaik you can use direct click-drag adjustment
no need to use scrolling, which, i can confirm, is a little bit too fast in vital
but, regugal left-click (and hold) on a parameter and then drag, gives you the regular nice and slow dragging feel…

Yea dang sorry my scrolling in Vital is not nearly that sensitive
But I also have a “gaming” mouse so I’ve edited the profile on it directly for sensitivity and scroll speed so I assume it not possible like that on the apple mouse, I always found the touch gestures a bit sensitive

I though there was a fine scroll option? Like holding Alt or Shift or something, maybe I’m wrong though

unfortunately you cannot edit the scrolling speed of the magicmouse in the system preferences as far as i can see
just the tracking speed

yes, there is:
it is the cmd key
hold the cmd key while scrolling makes it less sensitive
