I reinstalled my windows and added a new system ssd to my pc. All Ableton projects are on the separate drive. So, all plugin settings are the same when I reopened my projects except for Vital. All Vital instances are initialized now. I still have my previous system ssd, so I can export everything I need in wav, but still. Is it normal for Vital not getting the settings from Ableton current project folder on a new system? Or is there a smarter way to move presets data (maybe documents folder)?
I can only assume it has to do with the reinstall or relocating the ableton stuff, really unfortunate
Are all your Vital presets back in the original location on the reinstall? (Normally in User/ Documents /Vital, I believe)
Make sure you have the exact same plugin format installed and that Vital’s version is the same or the most recent 1.5.5.
I’ve read this happening to Live users. If the above matches, then there’s probably not much to do.
