I just built a new PC, and after setting up all my VSTs and FL studio, every instance of Vital on my old projects are set to init. Is there any fix?
(I am able to boot my old hardware and access them like I normally would before my new PC if needed)
Hmm, two questions:
- Are your user presets still available in Vital?
- Have you confirmed that the Vital presets folder on the new PC is in the same location as the old one?
I’m not sure if they’re in the same location compared to the old one, (I didn’t 1:1 copy my old HDD to my new one, I manually transfered and reorganized stuff), but I did transfer all of my purchased and User presets by moving the folders over, and I indeed can use and see them listed.
Make sure you’ve installed the latest (1.5.5 early access) version and all the plugin formats available that work in your daw. If you used f.ex. VST2 then VST3 won’t load the presets.
I know someone fixed this issue by completely uninstalling (excluding the data folder ofc) and reinstalling Vital. I think they first uninstalled, then reinstalled 1.0 and then installed 1.5.5, but that shouldn’t make a difference ig.
Kk, I’ll try when I have the time
When you’re done please do come back how it went so other people facing the issue will know.
I have indeed found that it was an older version downloaded, but now after installing the newest ver., FL studio won’t notice the VST3 version, only VST. Still troubleshooting right now
YES! it works, thankss for all the help;
I ended up installing the latest Vital version all on my C: drive.
