The first modulation parameter the synth is assigned, no matter what the value, immediately turns to the lowest value available upon presentation of MIDI input. Attached is a video better explaining the issue.

Notes for support:
MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9.
Using Ableton Live 11 Suite.
As seen in the video:

  • The glitch is specific to the very first and only the first modulation parameter.
  • The glitch is not preset-specific.
  • The glitch is not specific to any one key; any MIDI input whatsoever triggers the bug.
  • Automation of this bugged parameter in the DAW is not possible.
  • No MIDI mapping is attached to the software.

Restarting my computer has not helped. This was not always an issue but has arisen in the last few months. Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Right click on the slider resetting and select “Clear MIDI learn”
This is the most common reported problem with Vital so I think I’m going to show when MIDI learn is active and restrict the allowable MIDI assignments more.
