Hi! It would be nice to have the ability to choose which plug-in formats the user would prefer in the macOS installer. Maybe:
Standard Install / Default custom install options:
All supported plug-in types (VST, VST3. AU)
Then allow individual selection / deselection of format types.
As someone working 99% of the time in Logic and other hosts who support AU, I typically have no need for the VST format and prefer the simplicity / reduced storage footprint.
