Hi, I am making some game music.
But I dont know how to make the timbre sounded like the leads in:
0:21-0:25 of
and 8:31-8:35 of
I would like to ask for preset, or some tutorials to make these sounds, thank you.
They’re both a saw wave with 2 or 3 voices in mono. In Vital you can go to the advanced tab and turn stereo unison down. Then there’s a little attack time on envelope 1 (maybe 0.2s). You can apply that envelope to the cutoff of a low-pass filter (probably 24 db). You probably want the filter cutoff to end up almost all the way up, but cutting the very high end. You can add in pitch bends with an envelope or by using legato and some glide time.
