According to XDG Base Directory Specification all the configurations should go to $XDG_CONFIG_HOME. This would make backup/sync easier for every configurations at once, and also reduce the clutter in $HOME directory.
Please move the $HOME/.vital/Vital.conf to $XDG_CONFIG_HOME (~/.config/vital).
