Linux -- Can't use inside DAW

Vital works just fine as a standalone, but I can’t integrate it into Bitwig. I downloaded both the .deb and .zip (currently using the latter), and copied the extracted files to my /.vst3 folder. Reaper scans and loads it just fine, but – for whatever reason – Bitwig won’t. Is there any solution for this? Thanks!

OS: Pop_OS 22.04 x86_64
Kernel: 6.9.3
DE: Gnome 42.9
DAW: Bitwig 5.2.1, Reaper 7.15

I suggest you go to Bitwig discord and ask people there as well as this seems to be Bitwig specific and there’s more people.

Maybe change the title to : Linux - Can’t use inside BITWIG, works great inside REAPER.

I use Bitwig Studio, too (currently 5.2.4) running on Debian testing (Trixie)-
I have changed the path in Bitwig Studio, where it has to look for plugins. Du you know, where Vital has installed it’s executable? PopOS - according to my knowledge - is Debian-/Ubuntu-based.
But… first let me ask you, whether you installed Bitwig Studio using flatpak… because that changes literally everything.
I use BS on basis of the ‘conventional’ *.deb packaging system, because of countless limitations concerning accessibility of plugins, drivers, devices,… and so on.
And if it should be a *.deb…
if Vital is located inside /.clap and /.vst3, then you need to add this path to BS, because per default these folders are not known by BS.
I assume you know, where to add “locations”…?!?

In case of “flatpak”… seriously consider to remove this nonsense and use the *.deb instead… it simplifies so much… more than I can quickly explain.
I tried it in the past on Ubuntu and … it literally let me explode and remove not only this flatpak, but flatpak as such completely from my machines… it isn’t present on my Debian machine either since that experience and remains abandoned by myself.
