I’m totally new to synths and learning as I go, so totally nfg question trying to learn. When I click the drop down for the various presets in Vital I came to the Text-To-Wavetable but the instructions for setting LFO1 to Word Speed just got one big WTF out of me. How do I set this and the VOCODE for format shifting in order to get this working? Please and Thank you!
You are just modulating the wavetable position so having LFO 1 be a ramp up will play the words in order. You can adjust the speed by changing the frequency type to seconds and adjusting to your desired result.
The Vocode is something you don’t need to modulate, but just need to find something that sounds good. It helps keep the wavetable stable and sound more like a voice.
