It’s been quiet from Matt

Nah was just messing around. But I guess it’s packing plenty of changes, at least under the hood, which won’t be a 2.0 for us but internally I’m pretty sure a lot of code had to be reworked.

My vote is that it’s going to be a new product altogether. Maybe Tytel is light years ahead of our expectations.

How’s the work coming along? Any updates on anything?

I checked GitHub and the project doesn’t take any Pull Requests, which means the project can’t create a greater velocity other than Matt’s effort spent on the project.

Hopefully this will change soon with a small group of coding savvy people Matt trusts, who are willing to contribute to the project.

And maybe open up the sponsor feature on GitHub, so people can sponsor the project, who dont want the presets and such.

An open source stands and falls with a vibrant oss community surrounding the development.

Nice vibes ! Matt is truely great person , socialy lead and helping people create wonderful music , sounds etc

That’s quite romantic, but don’t hold your breath. You think along these three years or so of absence that would not have happened already?

Money isn’t going to cut it either. If Matt would be in it for money they would have taken care of the business.

Just use Vital as a free synth and stop dreaming about a castle in the cloud.

@papaUber No, Tytel said some time ago that they’re gonna be working on other stuff, so nothing’s probably going to appear until it does.
