Is there a way to make vocode sound more human

I want to know if there is a way to make the vocoder text to speech function to make voices that sound actually human [ both male and female]. You see, I’m working on an animation where I need several character voices, and because of the pandemic its not possible to get any talent to do it. Also note that there is no budget on this as it is a personal venture.

Can it be done in Vital, or does anyone know of something that can possibly do it?

Uhm making them very much more human might prove to be quite a challenge, anyway, if I were you, I wouldn’t use a text-to-speech algorithm while looking for a “human sound” the very point with it is to make it sound “inhuman” somehow. you could getter slightly better results imho importing sampled speech in the WT engine as file sources, and with the vocode spectral fx you can change its "character from male to female, to ogre to chipmunk if you feel like

Or, imho for an easier workflow, you might get some vocal processing software, there are reasonably effective free options as far as I know

Make sure you have “Vocode” selected in the first warping knob.
Then I find that some unison makes it less robotic.
