I just got vital and there are no options for changing the wave form or shape into something else, what do i do to get different ones, i want a sine shape.
Make sure Vital had internet access, it downloads content including wavetables.
Then you choose a wavetable called Basic Shapes that contain sine, triangle, pulse and saw waves in the table.
You can also go to the wavetable editor, level all the partials’ amplitudes to zero, and then adjust the first harmonic’s (the second bin) amplitude upwards which will give you a pure sine wave.

Hi, I’m really new at this. I’m taking a video course that says I need the Basic Shapes. I bought (probably shouldn’t have done that!) the Pro version, and when I click on Browse Presets and click on Factory, I only see 7 presets, none of which are Basic Shapes. I mean, I have 100s of presets, but I can’t seem to get the most basic of the basic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Make sure Vital can access the internet and log in to your account in the synth.
After too many times to mention, I realized what I did wrong! I may not be using the right terminology, so please forgive that. I was seeking a basic shapes preset when I should have been looking for the basic shapes oscillator. Thank you for you help!

idk where you write your own issue but I’m on Mac and vital lags like a mofo often… if theres too many effects on… id like a refund or it be fixed so I can actually use it please.
Well you haven’t paid for the synth but for the content packs so there’s nothing to refund ig. The synth is free.
You can go to Discord’s supporter channels to rise your concern still of course. I don’t think Tytel reads these forums a lot.
