I think that Chaos / random / S&H are great for generating unexpected and organic modulation, but sometimes it would be very nice to be able to “freeze” it so it stay the same.
A way to do this would be to be able to generate a random LFO curve based or the random algorythm (S&H, Parlin, Lorenz, …) and (at least for the SH) quantized on the grid X/Y size.
Ex : you can generate a curve many time and stop when the pattern is nice.
This is a very rare feature that would totally fit to vital amazing modulation possibilities.
