Free Wavetables: 128 Wavetables (Serum format) plus single-cycle waveforms, from a huge forthcoming collection

The latest addition to the full version of KRC Mathwaves is my “KRC Synth Sort and ZCross” collection of more than 9000 wavetables that are inspired by—and work great with—the new Korg multi/poly virtual analog synthesizer. These generally have a very “synthy” sound and are designed for gentle modulation (not generally full-on sweeping of the entire wavetable) and getting access to a huge variety of waveshapes/timbres, some of which are unique to this collection.

Of course, they are also provided in all of the other formats that I support, including Korg modwave, Vital/Serum-style .wav, PhasePlant, Eurorack/WaveEdit, and Surge/Bitwig’s .wt wavetable format.

My latest video takes a deeper look at the multi/poly, focused on the wavetable oscillator and these new wavetables and waveforms:

Of course, my free wavetables sampler (with more than 1600 free wavetables in all of the aforementioned formats) is still available, if you’ve not checked it out!

Hey there! The latest addition to the full version of KRC Mathwaves is my “KRC Hybez” collection of more than 1000 wavetables created with a hybrid time/spectral technique.

This wavetable collection (called “KRC Hybez”) is available in all of the formats I support. Those formats include Korg modwave, Korg multi/poly, .wav format for Serum and Vital (and many other softsynths), .wt format for Surge and Bitwig, 16-bit WaveEdit format for Eurorack (and other older hardware), and Phase Plant’s 256-frame format.

In my latest video, I talk about these new wavetables and explain the different types in the KRC Hybez collection. I also take a quick look at the new Pigments 6 and explore some unusual pitch modulation ideas that might be new to you:

If you’re interested in the full version of KRC Mathwaves, I’ve got a special offer that gives you access to that massive collection of more than 160,000 wavetables for just $20. To get it, just follow this link.

(Also, the proceeds from your purchase using that promo code “SANDRA” go to help my sister as she recovers from a very bad auto accident that happened over the holidays. So you get the world’s largest collection of wavetables and also help a really cool person. It’s a win-win proposition!)

Hey there! My latest video about KRC Mathwaves, I talk about how I learned to create mathematically-generated wavetables like these and I explore how much easier it is today. Check it out here:

Keep on wavetablin’,

New Wavetables Alert!: KRC Orchestral Impressions is a somewhat experimental wavetable project that explores creating wavetables from audio samples using some novel techniques that I call “timbral extraction.”

Like KRC Mathwaves, Orchestral Impressions is a huge library of wavetables (currently about 38,000) derived from orchestral instrument samples that will grow over time as I develop and refine new techniques. And, if you want to explore converting your own samples using my techniques, it includes the Python scripts that I used to generate these orchestral wavetables. (I’ll be doing a deep-dive video about that soon.)

And… even better… it’s just $5 at its introductory price! (And yes, it has all the same formats that KRC Mathwaves and the Mathwaves free sampler supports, including Vital.)

Rather than overwhelm you with info on this new project, I’ll point you to my latest video introducing KRC Orchestral Impressions:

And, hey, while you’re there, please like and subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already! It really helps others discover my wavetables and my channel. (And if you’re already a subscriber, thanks for being part of my talky synthesizer pals club!)
