A small but useful improvement would be to allow ctrl to fine adjust parameter values with mouse wheel when drag-dropping modulations to parameters and alt to allow to go straight to numerical input when the left mouse button is released. Shift could be preserved for bipolar switch. Currently all the modifiers do the same bipolar thing.
seems to work on the mac:
cmd + scrollwheel/dragdrop (2finger and 3finger dragdrop on trackpad) has fine adjust
and
opt-click (aka alt-click) offers direct numerical input
unfortunately “,” will not be interpreted as “.” in numerical input → wishlist
that’s on mac under mojave (10.14)…

Nice. The fine asdjust doesn’t seem to work for me on W10 when hovering a to-be a modulation connection over a parameter. MW does adjust it, but holding ctrl just turns it to a bipolar connection instead of fine adjusting the amount.
What I was going for with alt is that it’d be nice to go straight to numerical input when drag-dropping a modulation connection instead of having to alt-click the circle separately after the fact when you know you’re going to need that numerical input.
