When the waveform editor is open, the window appears to accept waveform files dropped from Windows Explorer. However, it doesn’t work. Only using the import menu does.
I didn’t know that was an option, i always thought the audio files were dragged and dropped from the main view onto the wavetable window. probably a good feature request though.
This actually works. You need to add an audio file source layer and drag the file onto the waveform display, which will naturally be just a -inf db line when you don’t have anything loaded yet.
