I’m thinking of getting Vital Basic, but I’m wondering if Vital Basic is CPU and storage intensive? I’ve seen threads where people say it is but I think those are talking about the pro package plus it was from last year, so I dunno how it is now. I’m on a Mac 2017 (so yeah it’s pretty old) with an i5 core if that helps.

The only difference between free and other levels is presets, TTWT, and priority support–the synth is the exact same for everyone.
As for CPU, its midrange in consumption if you turn the oversampling to x1
As for Storage, 70-100 depending on presets
