A stupid question about programming

So I’ve been thinking about creating vst plugins (synth or effects maybe).but I really don’t have any ideas where should I begin.i am just a computer science student rn.but since I like to produce music.sometimes I think it will be amazing to create my own synth or something like that.

So if there’s anyone who knows how should I get into stuff like that it’ll be awesome.

Btw I wanna know which programming languages should I learn And what basic knowledge do I need.

And which language is used to program a complex synth like vital ?

If you’re looking to learn how to make VSTs I’d check out the audio developer.

His Discord is pretty active and would have a lot more people to help than this forum:
