The "Thank you, Matt Tytel" Thread

I like how easy it is to name the Macros. I’ve enjoyed the different titles I’ve seen in some the Presets.

Thanks for this synth. It’s good to bake with.

Hmmm… Today is 4/20. Some baking with Vital may be happening right now!

This synth is simply insane. It’s a huge step towards very good open-source VSTs. The UI is perfect, the FX are sounding great… Many many thanks.

Bought the Pro version since I loved it so much. The sound of Vital is most impressive - not fatiguing and earth shattering like other synths fall over themselves to be - but invigorating, refined and magical. This is very special imo.

I am going to actually learn this synth instead of burning through presets and moving onto the next synth because the sound is so amazing. The GUI is also top notch, at first seems a bit confusing but it is actually very inviting and fun to use. Excellent achievement all round.

To think I almost got bloated UVI Falcon instead of this!

Matt,

Thanks so much for Vital. I don’t know if I would have started my music production journey without your software.

Much Love,

The goodness of this instrument goes without saying. Yet if nobody said it, that’s not good. But plenty did say it and so will I. Vital is extremely good. Who wouldn’t be thankful for this instrument? Tytel is certainly blessed, and so in turn are we. As a developer he has more than fulfilled the promise indicated by Helm.

Vital has become my number 1 synth VST. I wouldn’t be the same without it.

Just wanted to say thank you Matt for your work on Vital (and Helm too!) I am now a plus license owner.

I was just re-watching Venus Theory’s intro video for Vital from 2 years ago and realized - I’ve had way too much fun with Vital to not be helping support it! I am now. Thanks!!

I really must say, that Vital so far is the best synth for me. Everything It just so right. The quality screams. Amazing envelopes, fast workflow, endless sound variations. With it I can do more than just some ordinary sounds, but also claps, kicks, hats. I’m very picky when it comes to sound quality. Matt is not just programmer, he is a great audiophile. Thank you very much!

Thank you Matt!
Over the last couple years Vital has helped me get into synthesis and audio production. The flexibility of Vital in almost every circumstance is unmatched and my Ableton default template wouldn’t be complete without an instance of Vital ready and waiting

I abandoned software synths years ago because they felt tedious to me, and spent thousands on hardware synths. Then I tried Vital and that changed everything. It’s so intuitive, so easy to use, without compromising on depth or flexibility. It’s the best soft synth I’ve ever used, and the generosity to give that away for free is inspiring. That’s why I bought the pro version - not for extra wavetables or whatever, but to support a dev who’s making the world a better place.

I’m not ditching all of my hardware synths, but I’m scaling back significantly and this is going to save me a ton of money in the long run.

Vital changed my life – this is no exaggeration. It’s so good that I was able to make the decision to sell all these overpriced hardware synths that I barely even use anyway, and finance an online degree.

Vital was the first synth I was able to comprehensively tweak presets in. Thanks to it, I understand sound design way more, and it’s always fun to check an idea or other. :+1:

The “Oct Note” function works with scales that have something other than 12 notes/octave!

And I actually have a use case for this, in conjunction with some wild patches and mod remap.

Thanks Matt, you really thought of everything!
