Thanks, Matt. It’s substantially improved with version 1.07, but it’s still there. In Logic 10.5.1 on Mojave it pauses for up to several seconds while scrolling through a list of presets.
I’m sorry I haven’t put a network analyzer on it, as it’s tolerable, but I suspect it’s still a long forgotten time-out for a network layer that’s not responding unless you’re fully on-line, with no firewalls and with DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc etc responding to every little query.
