Free presets of my own making

I just DL " Gadget Magnets FREE July 2025 Vital Patches" and was absolutely amazed. There are a lot of few free and some very reasonable pay pack. What other do you recommend?

Also do you make any bank for Phaseplant?
Rob

Hi Rob,
Thank you for your interest, I’m glad you like them.

I don’t own Phaseplant at this time, it’s on my ‘I want that’ list. But I am working on a pack for Pigments 6 that I’ll hopefully release before Christmas, time allowing.

Perhaps these will do for now:

Enjoy!

You make some of the best banks in my opinion. But there are problems with CPU usage, for example, on Cubase and Windows 10. Intel(R) Core™ i5-7440HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz

Hi afikcja,

Thank you for your kindness.

I also have the odd bit of clipping now and again when making then but I do try to maximise output quality. Vital is great but it isn’t optimised for performance.
Sometimes a little tweak here and there helps a lot with CPU usage.
Like reducing the level of unison on each voice (that is a real load on CPU along with the voice total).

I appreciate you taking an interest, happy music making!
Take care, have fun,

Similar sounds are made by ‘S1gns Of L1fe’ and my processor handles it better. You can see for yourself how ‘S1gns Of L1fe’ does it, so there are multi-track pads and the processor doesn’t get overloaded at the same time. I know it’s difficult with Vital because it heavily burdens the graphics. Just minimising Vital in the DAW is enough, and it gets easier. About 70% of your sounds work well on Vital, the rest need a better processor and a less demanding DAW than ‘Cubase’. The DAW ‘Reaper’ performs better.

Hi all,

Guess what?
