competely agree, this is a questions and support page, people being annoyed at an issue is gonna pop up everywhere and yes it is completely caused by lack of knowledge not they synth and im not saying the synth is bad because it just isnt. u r a very based man
Thank you very much for the help but im sorry mate but this is a Questions and Support page, people ask for support and questions because of an issue that they find irritating, its not anything personal, deep or anything, it is a slight annoyance due to a lack of knowlege. if you are annoyed at people being annoyed at something they dont know what to do, why even look at the questions and support page. i appreciate the help by the way but this kind of behaviour especially on this forum is basically everywhere and it makes sense why, theres no need to get so worked up about it

Issues can be caused by bugs, a design decision, user error, or a system specific issue related to hardware configurations.
If you can, upload a video or audio file of what youâre experiencing.
Explain in detail what it is you are doing and what you are trying to accomplish. The more information you give the better the chances are youâll get useful support.
Think of it like going to the doctor. If you just say âI hurtâ itâs going to be harder for him or her to diagnose your pain but if you say âI hurt in my footâ then they can go right to the source of the problem.
Itâs never a bad idea to give your Operating system, the DAW(s) you are using etc.
This is coming from someone who has done tech support for decades so consider it advice based on experience.
Keep in mind that there are countless people using Vital and who have released hundreds if not thousands of patches for it and no one else has reported this issue.
So again stay calm, avoid using inflammatory language, explain your problem in detail and weâll be happy to help you figure out whatâs going on.

Hmmm it looks like the envelopes are triggering as expected. What behavior do you want to happen?
I notice in the video you didnât engage Legato mode in the bottom right hand corner. Have you tried that to see if it will accomplish what you want?
i tried it before it didnt help sadly, basically in the video the lfo retriggers at the start of the attack rather than the start of the decay (i switched presets in the vid about halfway through to show what i wanted to happen)
another thing ive just found out is chords dont work and it instead only plays the highest pitch note, which sucks as idk how to fix that either 
Well I donât know what to tell you. Iâm playing chords in Vital as we speak. It sounds like you have Vital in Mono Mode.
What does the number show in the Voices box?
Select âInitialize Presetâ from the drop down menu and you should be able to play chords. The number of voices can be increased to 32 if youâve got pads with long release times but more voices can consume more CPU.

I think you can only achieve this with the SMP⌠and I found this out by total accident the other night⌠Turn off all the other oscillators and load a sample into SMP that isnât just noise (eg. Factory>Wave). Set Voices to 1, switch on Legato and make sure the release time of ENV 1 is set above something like 0.085 seconds.
Now trigger some notes in quick succession and watch the play head scroll through the whole sample and not retrigger, even though thereâs a distinctly audible note off when you release a key.
I think youâre right in translating the OPâs initial question to mean this but they were additionally querying the note stealing phenomenon when playing chords.
As far as I know, itâs not possible to achieve the same result with OSC 1,2 & 3 but I could be wrong. To me, it makes sense that an OSC wouldnât behave that way, whereas a Sampler would. For example, Abletonâs Simpler (in Slice mode) has a playback option called âThruâ which behaves in a very similar way.

If you click on the âVâ logo in the top-left of Vitalâs user interface (UI) then a window will open with options to resize the UI.
It sounds like youâre trying to change the current preset but Iâm not totally sure what youâre describing.
